The candidate must have a transferable book of business of corporate clients and be able to start generating revenue. The focus of the role will be to contribute to and increase the number of active investors ( corporate clients ) to whom the bank distributes FX ( foreign exchange ) products. This role will have a broad mandate allowing flexibility with constructing FX products that the institutional client base demands.

The role:
- Maintain and develop relationships with corporate clients in Asia
- Develop the ASEAN corporate client franchise by improving levels of business passing through desk and therefore profitability
- Negotiate and execute FX ( foreign exchange ) transactions with clients.
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.
- Have an exceptional understanding of FX ( foreign exchange ) products and current market conditions and regulations
- Coordinate with other groups for compliance, legal, and cross-selling opportunities
Requirements:
- A degree in finance, economics, or similar. MBA preferred but not essential
- Minimum 4-5 years industry experience in FX
- A transferable corporate client account list of Fortune 500 companies
- Must have market knowledge, interest, and experience in the FX ( foreign exchange ) market across both cash and derivative products
- A strong track record of corporate sales and good revenue figures
- Knowledge of the FX credit and documentation process
- Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
- Good understanding of US regulatory feedback
